"Immer erst am Anfang" was the last song I wrote for the new album "Das ist die Wahrheit". We worked very intensively in different studios and with different producers to bring "our" sound and the love for German music even better on the album. We developed further during this time, especially in "us" personally as a band. So the song is like a best-of summary of our last 1,5 years, in which we worked intensively on the album.
We all live in a demanding time, surrounded by too much hatred, war, violence, ill will, poverty and inequality. Often, in all the stress of everyday life, we miss a little bit of charity and the ability of people to take more care of each other. Especially now, in the contemplative Christmas season, we want to send hope and sunshine into a cold, ever faster turning world with this song. We want to make people think. Therefore, our video clip also begins with a valuable quote from one of the greatest personalities of the last century, Nelson Mandela!
"No one is born hating other people because of their skin color, ethnic background or religion. Hate is learned! And if you can learn to hate, you can learn to love! Because love is a much more natural feeling in a person's heart than its opposite. "

"We chose this song and released it for Christmas because the song "time to wonder" and the message it sends has always been very close to our hearts. Our vision was, "What would the song sound like if GREEN DAY did it? We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023, let 2023 be the year for all of us".

"The song was created when the first clubs and bars opened their doors again and we had to somehow process all this energy that was suddenly felt again. I remember very well how I stood in the club on my first evening on the Hamburger Berg and in a sea of people met all the people again who seemed to have disappeared for half an eternity. It was simply everything like it used to be! This evening of emotions, hugs, music and lots of drinks, felt like a cry of liberation that made all the worries from the past years disappear for a moment."
In their early twenties and they are just getting started: Following a debut EP and their recent signing with Drakkar Entertainment, up-and-coming BIRDS VIEW are gearing up to take the world of rock 'n' roll by storm! We are incredibly happy to introduce another great new act to our roster: EXISTENT.
What started as a fixed idea of longtime friends on a whim, gave a first sign of life with the 2013 released EP "Ein neuer Weg" and finally came to life in 2016 with the release of the debut album "Startschuss" (Remedy Records/Rude Records).
Almost 10 years after their first release, the 5 guys are now pitching their tents in the Drakkar camp and will release their new album "STILLER HELD" in the coming summer of 2023. It is already clear: the musical development of recent years will be continued and it will be addressed opinionated, which must not fall under the table!
