The whole album and especially the new single revolves around restructuring your own opinions (including political ones), actions as well as habits and in doing so the band wants to show that it’s possible to see viewpoints even though you personally might not like them. - Or to put it in the words of the band:

"When we were in the studio almost a year ago, recording this song, we couldn't have anticipated that the date of the release would be close to a tragic incident like in Halle a couple of days ago.
What we wanted to do with this song, is to lyrically and musically portray the scenario of a racially-motivated incident, but in a way also turn the tables and show that love can be a way to defeat (deal with) hatred and the suffering that results from it.
But to be honest and realistic - love alone won't help. The times we currently live in make it a necessity that each one of us is not afraid to raise the voice and speak out against the shit that threatens to become legitimate or already is, due to the actions of certain political parties and other seemingly civil structures. Being against discrimination, anti-semitism or xenophobia is not left-wing. It is normal."
